We are thrilled to announce “Fare Thee Well – Celebrating 50 Years of the Grateful Dead” – to the Dead community. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, and Bob Weir will reunite at Chicago’s Soldier Field, nearly 20 years to the day of the last-ever Grateful Dead concert, which took place at the same venue. “Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead” will take place over three nights – July 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2015 – and mark the original members’ last-ever performance together. The band will be joined by Trey Anastasio (Guitar), Jeff Chimenti (Keyboards) and Bruce Hornsby (Piano), and will perform two sets of music each night.

On Tuesday, Bleep Bloop released a brand new remix of the Clipse track 'Keys Open Doors.' This track, which he has offered to his fans as a free download, is a hard-hitting take on the hip-hop classic that comes complete with rolling, bassy drops and grime breaks that are sure to please any fan of electronic music. 2015 Coachella Lineup Released
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will once again take place this year over two weekends, April 10-12 and April 17-19, in Indio, California. The festival has just announced its lineup, which you can see on the poster above. AC/DC, Jack White, and Drake will headline.

Gorgon City is comprised of North London producers Matt and Kye. The compelling duo burst onto the electronic music scene earlier this year with breakout single “Ready For Your Love” featuring and co-written by MNEK, which went to #4 on the UK Singles chart and garnered praise from the likes of The New York Times and Pitchfork in the States. Gorgon City has crafted an album of “soulful house music,” that harkens back to eras past while it remains fresh and modern, releasing their full-length debut album Sirens in October 2014. The seventeen-song deluxe LP is laced with infections deep bass, lush synths and stunning collaborations with artists including Jennifer Hudson, Katy B, Erik Hassle, MNEK and Maverick Sabre. The duo’s signature production technique paired with the impressive guest vocalist performances, properly introduces us to Gorgon City’s flourishing world of electronic club pop. They've previously played the MID, Primary Nightclub, and Double Door here in Chicago.

2015 Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival!
The 2015 Chicago Bluegrass & Blues festival is back with more bands, more nights, and more venues, expanding to six venues and 23 shows throughout January and February.
CBB is anchored in back-to-back three-night runs by The String Cheese Incident and Steve Earle, both making their first CBB appearances. Lucero also takes its first headlining turn with a date at Concord Music Hall, while Robert Randolph & the Family Band share the stage with Soulive’s Eric Krasno atCity Winery. The fest kicks off at SPACE in Evanston, IL onJanuary 9th, as Eddy “Chief” Clearwater celebrates his 80th birthday and third time on the CBB stage. Greensky Bluegrassreturns for the second consecutive year, wrapping up the series six weeks later at the House of Blues.

TECH[NO.] Loft Partys
REVERSE Events, is re-introducing an old concept into the circuit of live music events. TECH[NO] is bringing attendees an unparalleled forward-looking underground experience. TECH[NO] builds upon the elements of Electronic Music shows that have remained fundamental since the dawn of warehouse parties in the late 80's and early 90's - but with a contemporary overhaul.

One of the most sought after performances of the night, Casually referred to as the “Sunrise Set,” for the last 60 minutes all attendees still standing gather on the main dancefloor as the DJ unleashes the final beats of the night. I caught up with Andrew DalPino, REVERSE Events partner, and he had this to say:
“In keeping with the tradition of many underground events we chose to keep the exact location of each TECH(NO) a secret until the day of the event, and in the case of presale ticket holders and mailing list subscribers – a day earlier. It adds to the experience in a good way. Some people find out the location early and leak the info to their friends. Rumors sometimes begin to develop. It's like a treasure hunt, and your destination is this awesome party located where you'd never have expected!"
