INAUGURAL MYTH FESTIVAL
CHICAGO RECEIVES 35+ HOUSE & TECHNO ARTISTS OVER 2 DAYS
MYTH is a brand new 2 day music and arts festival coming to Chicago's Northwest side on June 18th & 19th featuring over 35 international House and Techno artists. Not just another Electronic music festival, MYTH fest has a purpose and a community in mind. Designed to serve up a variety of sounds from the underground, MYTH brings music fans together in a large open-air setting. To kick off the inaugural year, we're extending an opportunity to all media partners to review the festival, interview your favorite artists, and run a ticket giveaway for your readers!
The festival will exhibit 2 stages with high-end sound and production design by the boundary pushing REVERSE Events team. Expect booming sound and trippy visuals with elements of ancient Greek mythology throughout.
On site will be a plethora of tasty food vendors including Sweets Girl, The Cajun Connoisseur, and Greek Kalamaki BBQ and salads. Beer, wine, and liquor will be available to attendees of age.
The Lineup: Headlining MYTH fest are Huxley (UK), Waze & Odyssey (UK), Jonas Rathsman (Sweden), Sascha Braemer (Germany), and Heartthrob (USA). Make sure to catch sets by Detroit Techno heavyweight Terrence Dixon, jackin' House guru Ninetoes, and producer/keyboardist/vocalist Thomas Gandey (Get Physical). Also keep an eye out for the young up-and-coming Lovra (Germany), and the trippy experimental sounds by Chicago's very own Hieroglyphic Being.
There will be no shortage of local support either as DJ Heather, Tyree Cooper, Dustin Sheridan, Bucky Fargo, Amy Unland, and Derek Specs join the bill to round off a carefully curated lineup sure to keep you on your feet.
The Venue: Located just off the 90/94 highway on the Northwest side of Chicago, the Irish American Heritage Center's large open area surrounded by trees and other verdant matter makes a great space to host MYTH festival.
